Also, I saw in 2002 à big tobrouk probably for tank turret on the beach of San Remo. Do you know that??? I had visited in 1998 the Capo Mortola to research Germans or Italians bunkers...but I found nothing at all on this area. Is it true??
On the French Riviera, you can find more Italians bunkers builded in 1942-43 by the "4 ARMATTA" along the coast from East to West between Nizza at Sanary. This is a list of italians fortifications that I known and that you can visit in the South of France (

NIZZA - Castel hill: batteria Giolitto (4 X 149 gun)
NIZZA- Promenade Des Anglais: casemates for mg (destroyed in september 1944)
VILLENEUVE LOUBET: Bunker for gun 47 mm antitank destroyed in 50's.
ANTIBES- FORT CARRE:
bunker for MgGOLFE JUAN: 3 bunkers for Mg ( 2 destroyed in the 80's),
only one on the Bijou BeachCANNES-LERINS ISLAND: strongpoint "GAZELLA"...(???)
CANNES-LA BOCCA: strongpoint "GIAGUARO": big bunker for 75 mm gun and mg: destroyed in 1986
CANNES -ST CASSIEN AIRPORT: strongpoint "ORSO" (???) Batteria (4 X 75 mm gun)
LA NAPOULE: strongpoint "LUPO"
Raguette Beach 4 smalls bunkers for mgMANDELIEU- BRIDGE OF SILVER RIVER:
a bunker for Mf and a casemate for gun (75 mm?)...and a german tobrouk for Mg.THEOULES: on the beach a bunker for mg: destroyed.
